Whether there are weighing, level measurement or complex open or closed loop control tasks - the new Electrical Versatile Amplifier (EVA) not only collects measuring data and evaluates it; but is also easy to operate and excels in its visualisation.
Its extensive range of standard options supports a wide range of the most diversified sensors and makes the EVA unit suitable for almost any application. An on-board 24-bit A/D converter handles all input from the sensors, thus providing the highest-level of accuracy at fast sampling frequencies. Utlizing a Windows CE operating system, the software is easily customised. The unit features a factory-installed package of frequently used applications such as static and dynamic weighing functions.
Customers benefit from a software modification toolkit to build their own applications. Global remote maintenance of the unit is supported via the mobile radio network (GPRS), thus minimising downtimes and simplifying any possible servicing requirements.
Input data from the sensors is provided to the customer's IT system via the integrated Ethernet port or GPRS or distributed via the Internet. The optional Profibus interface enables link-up to a customer's PLCs.
Commercially available USB flash drives are used to record the measuring data. RS232 ports allow for immediate printer connection. Further input and output connection are possible via add-on modules. Another field of EVA application is plant engineering where it optimises plant control by recording many kinds of input data. Monitoring, signal output and recording are just as easy as closed loop control or the measuring of the temperature and acceleration.
