C-LEVER® direct (CLD) is the result of the permanent improvement of innovative REMBE® technologies. In close cooperation with the university of applied science in Düsseldorf, the C-LEVER® measurement procedure has been optimised to be an extremely precise and absolutely reliable measuring system for bulk and solids. The consistent pursuit of the goals that were set has led to a measurement procedure based on centrifugal force that is unique in the world and for which a patent is pending.


 

The C-LEVER® direct (CLD) flow meter is characterized by the highest measurement accuracy. The various series are suited to the widest variety of applications – from truck pre-loading to controlling and dosing tasks in the bulk goods processing industry. The compact design and the low overall height enable spacesaving applications whilst reducing time during installation.

 

 

  • Due to the Friction Compensation Technology (FCT) the system does not require drives or other mechanically moving parts which means less maintenance.

That’s why the C-LEVER®direct is better than conventional measuring systems!



The C-LEVER® - principle is based on the laws of centripetal force. We have used this principle for the development of a very accurate, bulk  ensity independent, friction compensated process. An accuracy of up to 0.2%* can be achieved even with completely different properties of the bulk goods. The bulk and solids that are fed via a special intake with optimum feed point are diverted over a radial shaped sensor surface.

 

According to Newton a counteracting centripetal force, directed towards the centre, of the same magnitude as the outward centrifugal force is created by this radial movement thus keeping the bulk product on its circular path.

 

In the case of this optimum sensor arrangement of the C-LEVER® the counteracting force corresponds to the centripetal one, which has an absolutely linear relationship with the throughput and is measured by means of a special friction compensated force sensor (FCT).

 

This method is ten times more accurate

than belt scales or impact weighing

systems.

 

 Specified accuracies are related to the full-scale reading at calibrated flow rate.

EVA - The Electrical Versatile Amplifier

With EVA in its robust stainless steel casing monitoring, signalling, recording and temperature measurements are also feasible as controls or acceleration readings. A 24-bit A/D converter collects the sensor readings and offers the highest level of precision combining with rapid sampling rates. The software can be customised for individual applications. Remote maintenance of the electronics can be performed worldwide via the mobile phone network.

 

The measured data can be made available via the integrated Ethernet port in the customer's IT system or transmitted via the Internet. The optional Profibus interface allows the solution to be connected to the customer's existing PLC. The readings can be recorded onto a standard USB stick or a Compact Flash memory card. Optionally, the electronics can be equipped with a GPRS module for mobile communication via the mobile phone network.

 

 

 

LAC Signal converter in a DIN rail housing

This signal converter converts the C-LEVER® DMS signal to 0/4 … 20 mA or 0-10 V. This can be displayed in a PLC for the monitoring of performance. Simple operation takes place via DIP-switch.

 

 



DAT 400/500 Performance monitoring in a DIN rail mount or panel mount

This simple measuring amplifier serves the monitoring of performance in kg/h or t/h. The flow of material per unit of time is measured. It offers two limit checks with relay output. The voltage or current output can be set to 0/4 … 20 mA and 0-10 V. The measuring amplifier has an RS-232 or RS-422 interface. Simple menu-driven programming of the measuring instrument is possible. Optional: DeviceNet or Profibus
