Forward Acting Triple-Section Bursting Discs

BT-ODV Triple section bursting discs are normally applied in low to medium pressure applications and have an operating ratio up to 80% of the burst rating. The burst element with its laser cut breaking points ensures a high degree of precision and in combination with the sealing membrane determines the burst pressure. In corrosive media applications, the burst element is isolated by the sealing membrane, which is normally made of Teflon, but can also be made of SST for higher burst ratings. An integrated vacuum support enables cyclic pressures from full vacuum to positive pressure within the 80% ratio boundary. BT-ODV Discs are installed in the IG Bursting disc holder. Sizes from DN 20 (3/4") fit into the U-Holder unit while the ST-ODV disc fits into the S-Holder unit.
